Mathematics, Physics and IT Department

Today’s department of Mathematics, Physics and IT was founded in 2015 after the merger of several units specialized in exact sciences. It has roots in the original Department of Mathematics and Physics – one of the oldest university units founded in 1945 even though teachers of mathematics and physics have been trained here since 1939.
